Jaecoo vehicles are built on Chery’s high-performance platform — the J5 uses a torsion beam rear suspension and a 1.5T TGDI engine, the J7 and J8 step up to an independent multi-link rear suspension, a 2.0T TGDI engine, and a 7-speed wet DCT.
